| Our
Work Trade Program offers financial assistance to students who
may otherwise be unable to attend the Acupressure Institute. To
be eligible for work trade, you must be enrolled in a certificate
program. To apply, send your resume to info@acupressureinstitute.com.
If scheduling and tasks can be arranged, the work trade coordinator
will provide an agreement stating the work trade amount and hourly
wage. A maximum of half of the program tuition, less the deposit,
may be agreed upon. Students are responsible for recording hours
worked on time sheet, contained in the front of the work trade binder.
Any work trade credit accumulated must be applied toward program
cost - there will be no monetary payment for services rendered.
Likewise, enrolled classes may not exceed the work trade credit.
Either party can terminate the work trade contract at any time.
Work trade students have two payment options: 1) pay the remaining
program cost up front, or 2) pay half of each class, and apply work
trade credit to the other half. Your position in a class is secure
once you complete the hours necessary to cover the remaining cost
of the class. As a work trade student, your classes will be spread
out to allow time to work off half of each class cost, prior to
taking the class.
We rely on each work trade student's commitment to follow through
on assigned tasks. A work trade student who has not completed the
contracted amount of work for their program cost will not receive
a certificate until the program has been paid in full.
Work trade is a valuable program to both
our staff and students -- and the Acupressure Institute wants this
partnership to be a success. If you have any questions, please feel
free to call the school or e-mail info@acupressureinstitute.com.
