Receiving a cancer diagnosis can throw a person on to an emotional roller coaster. Critical decisions with long reaching consequences must be made at a time when the person is overwhelmed with shock, fear and/or anger. In addition, western cancer treatments have harsh side effects and a person’s powerful negative emotions can compromise their immune system. In this class we will learn and apply acupressure point patterns designed to support the immune system and to address issues such as shock, anxiety, self-image and memory loss.
