Learn to use gentle, compassionate (Ren ) touch on Acupressure points and free the natural, joyous flow
of healing energy that is in all of us. Traumatic experiences (physical, mental or emotional) can create blockages in the healthy flow of our energies. These blockages may become “stored” in the Body/Mind/Spirit. Healthy Qi flowing through our body's points and meridians can loosen and free these blockages, promoting healing and allowing our Spirit (Shen)
to flourish. Our Shen is the source of our enthusiasm, our vitality, and the “sparkle” in our eyes and affect.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Heart not only propels Blood, but also Governs the Shen -
our ability to be creative, spontaneous, intuitive, and positively engaged in life. Acupressure, when practiced with
a light compassionate touch, deep breathing, appropriate exercise and nutrition, can help develop Shen.
Cultivating body awareness through lightly working acupressure points can provide a release of blocked emotions, provide healing for the Heart, encourage spontaneity and open the deep wells of our creative spirit.
Allow your heart to express more clearly through your hands and your healing work.
