TRAINING
Prerequisites: Basic, Intermediate & Advanced Acupressure
Classes
10 Contact Hours
- This hands-on
workshop applies the material learned in the Basic Training
and 200-Hour programs
- Through small
group interaction, students develop point patterns and session
plans
- Expand your
assessment capabilities and clinical experience
- One Apprenticeship
Training required for 200-Hour; three required for 850-Hour
DOCUMENTED & ADVANCED CLINICAL PRACTICE:
Prerequisite: Basic, Intermediate & Advanced Acupressure Classes
2 Hours/session
Students are required to type their documented practice (write-ups),
as well as assignments, and turn them in at least one week prior
to the evaluation. Twice a month (2nd and 4th Thursdays, 5 to
7 pm) advanced students are able to ask questions and further
integrate assessment skills.

STUDENT
PROJECT SUGGESTIONS
Choose a project and write a one page description or outline of
what you want to do. Set up your consultation time with a teacher.
Turn in your outline or description to the office one week prior
to your one hour consultation.
- Work with
arthritic / geriatric clients
- Work with
abused women
- Assist couples
with fertilization issues using acupressure
- Work with
physically handicapped children
- Help deserted
or addicted newborn babies
- Work with
an acupuncturist
- Develop acupressure
first aid classes
- Run and manage
temporary on-site acupressure practice for travelers and commuters
- Develop pamphlets
- Administer
acupressure therapy to physical education teachers and students
- Administer
acupressure therapy at sports events
- Develop presentations
or classes (for teacher training only)
- Produce a
video documentary on some aspect of acupressure
- Condense and
summarize all your acupressure class notes
