The Basic 150-hour training covers
several types of acupressure and shiatsu. Students gain proficiency
in using more than 75 acupressure points and 8 styles of bodywork.
Upon completion, the student is eligible to practice acupressure/shiatsu
in California and depending upon county requirements, can legally
charge a fee for sessions.

The 200-hour training enables students
to enhance their skills and develop a specialty in private practice.
Students are required to select four primary classes related to
their specialty. Six other classes are selected from advanced
classes and electives. Two of these six classes can be electives
not taken in the Basic Program. Students are also required to
take one Apprenticeship Training and ten hours of Advanced Clinical
Practice Sessions. Prerequisite: Students must complete our Basic 150-Hour
Training or equivalent.

The
850-hour Acupressure Therapy Program enables you to be proficient
in several areas of study including advanced acupressure, traditional
Asian modalities and related bodywork therapies. Based on your
professional goals and interests, you individualize your program
by selecting from a variety of bodywork and holistic therapy classes.
This career training program also prepares students who wish to
become recognized professionals in the field of acupressure to
take the National Asian Bodywork Exam.
